Es ist wieder ein Weilchen her seit unserem letzten Blogeintrag. Dafuer gibts diesmal eine ganze Menge Fotos, hauptsaechlich von unseren "Ferien" in Florida. Es war Cale's erste Flugreise und er hat das ganze grossartig gemeistert. Er hat sich seine erste "Frequent Flyer" Karte bestellt. In den naechsten paar Wochen und Monaten wird er bereits wieder unterwegs sein, Enda januar gehts nach Vancouver, dann Ende Februar in die Schweiz.

Back to Reality
So, here I am, back in Chicago where it's -10c!
I actually don't mind the cold...I've got an ultra high-tech protection system going on, as you can see...
When it's not snowing, it's usually sunny with blue skies, so the snow starts melting and forms huge icicles, which Mommy and I think are cool (Daddy just thinks we're simple-minded)...
There's just a bit of snow on the streets...
And in front of our house...

Opening Presents on Christmas Day
I wasn't quite sure what to do with my first present...
Luckily there were a lot of experts in the house to help me out...
I got lots of fun presents but hanging out with Mommy and Daddy was even more fun...
This new toy is really cool...I can even push it myself and it moves and makes noise (am sure Mommy and Daddy are going to just love it once I've done it thousands of times over and over and over)...
I was exhausted by the end of the day, but that didn't stop Daddy from playing xBox with Danpa...
Luckily there were a lot of experts in the house to help me out...

Maybe this doll thing isn't so bad after all!
Ohhh, a big stocking...I like that!
Even more so, I LOVE my Curious George book...there is page with him smiling and I smile right back at him every time!

Cale's First Holiday!
As usual, it's been a while since our last post, but this time we have good reason. We were in Florida for 2 weeks (well, Michelle and Cale for 2 weeks and Christoph for 1 week) over Christmas and New Years! We had a great time visiting Cale's Danma and Danpa in Tampa and then spending a few days in Fort Lauderdale with Michelle's best friend, Trudy and her husband Seth and daughter Lylah.
Cale did great flying...after crying for a few minutes on each flight, he slept most of the time, ate a bit and then smiled at all the people around him the rest of the time. Quite a social little guy! We enjoyed walks in the warm weather each day and of course he enjoyed playing with his grandparents. Now get ready for a load of pics...we went a little crazy with the camera!
