Mommy & Daddy Baby Pics

Everyone has asked, so here they are!

Mommy @ 2 weeks

Uncle Stephen and Mommy (2 months old)

Danma and Mommy (3 months old)

@3 months

Daddy @ 6 months

Cale meets the Fitzies

We stayed with Mommy's friends, "Auntie" Cyndi and "Uncle" Emmett while in Vancouver. The best part about it was that I got to play with their kids! Ceili is 4 weeks older than me and Aidan is 3 years old. I overheard Auntie Cyndi and Mommy planning my wedding to Ceili...um, she's a hot chick and all, but I'd like to at least wait until my first tooth comes in before taking her on a date.

Ceili and I had our first little fight. She decided she wanted my toy (even though she has the same butterfly in pink!) and stole it from me. She pretended to give it back and then took it again. Women!

Aidan was sweet enough to bring Ceili her own butterfly. Ceili and I are happily feasting on our butterflies in this picture and Aidan is apparently very excited to be hanging out with us!

Ceili and I have lost interest in our toys, but Aidan's still having a great 'ol time sandwiched between us.

I had to show Ceili that I can touch my toes too! She's an expert at putting her toes in her mouth, and I started copying her once I got home. Yummmm.

Cale meets the Parrys

I was excited to meet Mommy's paternal side of the family while in Vancouver as well! Here I am with Papa (Mommy's Dad). He's a computer teacher and was thrilled that he was able to teach me how to use a mouse in a matter of minutes. A computer mouse is for banging and licking, right?!

I had fun roughhousing with Uncle Aaron. Boys rock!

I loved my Auntie Pascal's necklace (and she's not bad either ;-). I wasn't quite as impressed with her dog, Gucci, licking my face!

My uncle's girlfriend, Miriam, took a liking to me. Who's to blame her?!

Auntie Debbie's Birthday

I was so excited to celebrate my Auntie's birthday with her in person! We started the day off with brunch with Papa (Mommy's Dad), Auntie Debbie and her fiance, Ryan.

I hung out with my cousin Alex once he got out of school.

We went out to a restaurant for dinner and thankfully my cousin entertained me...I'd had enough of sitting around in restaurants (kind of a tease, when all you can eat is milk)!

Dinner ran well past my bedtime, so I jumped on Danma's lap for a bottle and some cuddles.

Cale meets the Cowleys

I met the Cowley (Danma's) side of the family in Vancouver! From left to right: Great Grandy, Auntie Debbie, Cousin Alex, Great Grandad, me of course, and Mommy. Danma was there too (she took the picture). Daddy joined us a few days later.

Here's Grandad with his granddaughters and great grandsons.

I had a great time bouncing on GG's (Great Grandad's) knee!

Great Grandy loved holding me on her lap. I am almost as big as she is!

Auntie Debbie fell in love with me at first sight. She dressed me, fed me, played finger puppets with me and taught me kung fu as well as how to play the piano (does she know I'm only 5 months old?!).

We spent an afternoon with Mommy's Uncle Lee, Aunt Jennifer and cousins Trenton and Theresa. Auntie Jennifer took me for a hike around the house in the backpack they gave us...I loved it! What's better than being toted around and having hair to pull and shoulders to drool on at the same time?

Daddy tried out the backpack with me next. Unfortunately his hair is a little too short to pull and he put a burp cloth barricade between my mouth and his shoulder.

Nibbles Play Cafe

Just before going to Vancouver, we went to a "play cafe" with one of Cale's friends, Ben. It's a really great concept - a cafe where parents can get coffee and sit and chat while kids play in one of the many themed play rooms. Here are a few pictures of them playing!

First Trip to Vancouver

It looks like we've gone from over-eager daily posts in September to slightly more realistic monthly posts now ;-)! Cale had his second trip, this time to Vancouver for 10 days at the end of January to meet Mommy's family and friends.

Cale was great on the flights both ways, but didn't appreciate the change in schedule and decided to pay us back by refusing to eat during the day and waking up every two hours at night! He also had his first fever, but luckily it was short-lived and he's back to his happy little self. He's now turning from his back to his tummy every chance he gets (including while sleeping) and is working on sitting up on his own.

Cale's next big trip (and last one for a while, we hope!) is next week to Switzerland to meet Daddy's family and friends. For now, we're going to post a bunch of pics from Vancouver. Enjoy!
